Rebellion are giving away Steam copies of 2004's Blofeld-sim Evil Genius for a limited time. They're very deliberately not saying when it ends, so you should probably get in quick-ish.

This week's Epic Freebie is Death Coming. That's it. Next week's is a "MYSTERY GAME", so they might have something up their sleeves...

Recommended title, by the way. I think they're promoting their game because Evil Genius 2 is in the pipeline.

This week's Epic Store freebie is... hang on... (SFX CUE - SHUFFLING OF PAPERS, DOUBLE CHECKING OF NOTES)... Grand Theft Auto 5? Huh.

I'd link the store page, but the entire store and Epic client has been knocked offline by the tidal wave of bodies grabbing the game, plus a second tidal wave of people who already own the game grabbing a second copy for the included multiplayer items, plus a third tidal wave of modders and cheaters grabbing backup copies with which to do things that could get them banned from multiplayer. So, uh, you'll probably have to wait a moment for it to become attainable.

Aegis Defenders Steam codes are being given out by Humble Bundle over the next three days for the usual iron price of a newsletter signup.

Discovery Tour by Assassin's Creed: Ancient Egypt and Discovery Tour by Assassin's Creed: Ancient Greece are up for grabs until 4am on the 22nd in your timezone. These aren't full Assassin's Creed games, but rather repurposings of their worlds and assets as an edutainment thing to teach you about the world of antiquity. Which is pretty neat!

For the visual novel people: Higurashi When They Cry Hou's first chapter, Onikakushi, will be free on Steam and GOG "until an effective vaccine or treatment" for COVID-19 is discovered.

In roughly 45 minutes from the making of this post, The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game will be free to snatch up on Steam for a week.

This week's Epic Store freebie is another biggun... Civilization VI.

The next game is a secret again, but based on a leak that this release confirms it'll be some Borderlands stuff, and then Ark after that.
