I'm strongly tempted to say "Still too much". Though as I recall it's the sequel that was terrible. (Also, is it really free when you have to deal with Uplay?*)Rachael wrote:I am not a big fan of Ubisoft - but hey, free game, right?
* This remark originally included a ":p". It was removed since Uplay has decided it wants to crash after updating. Go Ubi.
Adding to that, their site limits account passwords to a paltry 16 characters. That is, to use the scientific term, bullshit.

I haven't played either, but as I understand it, it's vice-versa - WD1 is bad, while WD2 is a big improvement.NeuralStunner wrote:I'm strongly tempted to say "Still too much". Though as I recall it's the sequel that was terrible.

Pleased to meet your acquaintance again, Kate Walker! That was some pretty background music and a fairly relaxing tale, and to think I got to watch most of the game when one of my friends played it.

Re: The Free Games Thread
For any RTS fans that have somehow been living under a rock, Starcraft 2 is officially Free To Play. Seems to be somewhat "shareware-like" where the first campaign is available and the others are paid.

On that note, the original Starcraft + Brood War expansion are fully free if anyone had missed that.

Re: The Free Games Thread
If you already owned the first campaign before this, Blizzard have gifted you the second campaign for free, but you'll need to claim it before... December 8, I believe.Caligari87 wrote:For any RTS fans that have somehow been living under a rock, Starcraft 2 is officially Free To Play. You can tell it's christmas season because there's another free game.
