2D DOOM 4 (WIP)

Post by Knig8 »

I'm Making a Fan-Game that is about DOOM 4... In 2D!. But, Game Maker is 64x bit. and my computer is 86x bit. and I Need Paint.NET To make Transparent Images. but, it needs a computer with 64x bit. so... i think i'm lost. :(
Can Someone find a program that makes 2D Shooters and a Program to make Transparent imgaes.
Also, i Have sprites for the game that is unfinished, and It's only DOOMSlayer. only the shotgun is the think i can make.
(I'm not a good game maker, it's my first game to make.)
So i Think i need help in making the sprites and the game.

You mean 64-bit and 32-bit, but yes.

If you plan on releasing the game for profit, I think you may have difficulties getting a license. If it's for yourself, I'd say it's kind of a waste of time and effort.

The idea itself is good, but without a dedicated team it'll probably take you ages to finish it.

Bettering your skills through developing projects is never a waste of time in my opinion. Sure, there might be no monetary gain behind developing something doom-related, but it's much easier to work on a project (and thus improve skills) if it's something you're enthusiastic about.
