I actually want to see how will this go. If this goes well, then great, another game to probably try in the future!
If it crashes and burns, it's another meme machine and something to laugh at for the whole internet. There's nothing to lose, but it would suck for the developers, for sure.
Also, I kind of find the first Bubsy game kinda enjoyable. The two sucks for being repetitive and the 3D, well...

love bubsy, always prefered him over sonic growing up, always found the game much more challenging... and then.. the PS1 game came along.. I remember buying it on a Friday evening to play it for the entire weekend.. 
But i'm glad he's back and getting another shot! I noticed the sand sharks return too.
