You guys keep mentioning it, yet nobody have provided a reason WHY they should be gone. Also removing them will require aligning texture names to the middle of the image, because otherwise they will look strange and HORRIBLE.

I just want this back. Not that stupid new one, which is very un-user friendly.

EDIT:

I keep telling myself that one day, I will write a handy guide on How To Take Critique, For Beginners. Something to introduce people fresh to creativity to the idea of hardening their skin and not taking things too personally.

I could probably just cut out the middleman by making the article just a link to this page with the caption "Don't Do This".

MaxED, please pay no mind to haters... if anyone bothers to do pull requests, then cool, otherwise, do your thing man. :D Anyone who doesn't like stuff can roll back to older versions or go use WadAuthor or something. :V

Yeah, I know. Not for me though. The nightmares of using it on Tyrian come to mind as well...

Real men manually move a magnet over their disks to write data with more precision than the driver firmware.

ZZYZX and Camaxide explain my thought much more correctly than I could do, so I've no more to say about this.

For some reason, the very latest version (r2787) now uses 1,7Go of memory, so until something changes, I'm out of the discuss anyway.

This behavior won't get you anywhere. I suggest you read the last paragraph of Camaxide's next post.

Anyone who manages to make a Doom map doing that deserves a medal.

And I'm not talking one of those medals they hand out randomly every year. I'm talking a real medal.

Hell - even doing it with a punch card would count.

Real men/women/porpoises use a self-made COBOL script to convert hand-written LaTeX into valid UDMF.

This isn't really the proper way of responding to criticism.
