Resident Evil 5 (Already played Resident Evil 4? Want to play it again with a brain-dead AI partner and terrible cover shooter sequences? Here you go.)
Blood 2 (Liked the weird weapons and grimy diesel-punk setting of the first game? Too bad. Here's a formulaic cyberpunk FPS with the art style of a 90s comic book.)
SPORE (Somehow, I found this game about cultivating a race of evil penis monsters to pretty shallow and boring.)

Those were the three games I recall playing recently and not really liking...

Bah, I liked Blood 2.
I didn't think it was great, but I had fun with it. Call it a bad game, sure, but IDK if it fits the "to avoid" part.
Honestly, I think it's more just a victim of the same thing that afflicted Doom 3; It simply did not live up to its predecessor's legacy. Taken on its own merits (or lack thereof), it's just kind of average. (Also B2 totally had weird weapons)

Endgame (2002). Empire's answer to Time Crisis. While the voice acting is sometimes cringe-worthy, it's use of Renderware is one thing: Make a mediocre rail-shooter with cringe-worthy dialogue and a typical futuristic setting in Europe. And there is really plenty replay value.

FANTASY WARS.

Seriously, it's one of the most awful games I've played ever. It's a shame what could have been a really interesting strategy board game, was completely ruined by an extremely unfair difficulty curve. First campaign levels are pretty OK, but when you reach the latter ones you suddenly face with ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE missions; the AI starts to spawn infinite(?) enemy troops when you have only two or three ally groups in the entire board. And no talking about the limited time to achieve the main goals of the current scenery... You'll blame it continuously, specially in the starting 3 flying dragons level... Man, what were the programmers thinking about? :blergh:

Extremely unbalanced and fuckin' frustrating game. If you don't want to scream and stomp a big halberd in your PC screens, please don't play it. :!:

Next on my list: Fox Hunt (Playstation)
The video quality is slightly worse, despite being a port of the Windows game of the same name, it has poorly cut in FMVs, like the rail shooter sections for example.
There's little to no explanation of the controls. Pressing X, Circle, Square would make you do something, but the fighting is broken. When you fight Freddy for the first time, you should press random buttons until the sequence is complete. Oh, and did I mention the game gives you one chance at this? You could save your progress at least, but it makes it more complicated as there isn't a Strategy mode option like the Windows version did. What the hell? Don't get it, get the Windows version, that's all.

Not AS bad as some other games I played but still not recommended. It's slow and sluggish and I'm being honest when I say I'd rather play Sonic 06. And yes, Those are stolen sound assets such as Klonoa's voice and several SFX clips and The Jeopardy theme.

Ironically, The mascot character of the game has been someone I've been researching about after and have since become interested with considering he has more about him than just this game. Seriously, Read this documentary I made dedicated to him.

On the other hand if you TRULY want something bad, Which Vinny also happened to play: it was this Flintstone's game on DOS. Imagine a platformer where for the simplest of platforming you have about 8 different keys just to preform a single action. Jumping sucks alone (You literally have one button to jump straight up and other keys to jump left jump right and... Holy Fuck.) and the sound effects actually gave someone in the comments section a migraine because they are so bad. Oh, and everything kills you in one hit - If you hated the original Bubsy I guarantee this is 100 times worse.

I pretty sure the enemy's sprite was stolen from Wolf3d
Reactor wrote:Bhagat Singh - Almost exactly the same with Alien Anarchy, except this FPS game was made in India, and if possible it'S even more crappy than the previous one was. At least Alien Anarchy actually featured some video cutscenes. This game is nothing but a glitchy pile of shit, most of the time it crashes for no particular reason, or freezes completely. Controls are equally shit, graphics are vomit, AI is nonexistent, and the whole concept is just a nonsense garbage. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Speaking of Bhagat Singh, when you die, you cannot lose, the game still continues. You can also go out of bounds in the final level by climb the tower and jump to the wall, and last the weapon sounds ripped straight from Half-Life and Doom64 (The Magnum and the two-finger gun (supposedly the shotgun) respectively)

Speaking of bad games, Thundra, Miami Traffic games (you play as a cheetah in a broken open-world environment), Rogue Warrior, Bubsy 3D, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, Superman 64, Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, FBI Hostage Rescue and any game made by LJN are the ones in the list

Speaking of bad FPS, here's Secret Service: Security Breach:
Liked the ragdoll physics, great weapon selection and tough gameplay of the first? You get this pile of garbage with no ragdoll physics, tougher gameplay, and enemies taunting you after they die as their last straw. And even there is no lip-sync, and the weapon sounds are screwed up as ever. Worst of all, it runs on Slam Software's AMP engine, which was previously used in Gore: Ultimate Soldier, a game that I liked but now I don't like it that much.

Next is US Most Wanted: Nowhere to Hide. If you liked Funlabs' previous efforts, you're gonna be upset over the poor grammar, little to no mission explanation, and the game being set in the US and Europe, but with targets on the aptly named most wanted list. The sound is worse, but the full body awareness trick got me as I played it for the first time. Ignore this and Fugitive Hunter, they both suck as they're awful, and never play them.

America's 10 Most Wanted (a.k.a Fugitive Hunter) was not that bad of a game IMHO. Ye, sure, compared to Doom 3 or Half-life, it's suckage, but then again, there are games which are an octo-decillion times worse than that. I'd rather play Fugitive Hunter a million times than War Train Normandie or H.U.R.L. once. I would say Fugitive Hunter is a "powerful", stable mediocre game, as it does have its fair share of redeeming factors (I'm talkin' about the PC version!):

- It offers two difficulties, and it IS very challenging on "hard". It was kind of nice that enemies are much more dangerous, and the level isn't flooded with ammunition.
- Most level background songs were pretty enjoyable.
- The Wolfenstein 3D-style extra lives system was a good idea and was done rather well in this game (however, you can't get extra lives for score, which is bad)
- Many graphics were pretty yummy, especially the weapons.

I know, it's not much, but believe you me, Fugitive Hunter is a much much better effort than most shitty FPS games, especially City Interactive ones (Marine Crapshooter anyone?). It was actually enjoyable to some degree.

I've got two: Corridor 7: Alien Invasion and Operation Body Count. Who's idea was it to hardwire the S key into the game?!

since i played it recently, i honestly have to say Hard Reset. i have no idea if the Redux version improves on it in anyway, but holy shit, is the original version bad. the guns lack punch and feedback, due to you only having two guns that are modular, and switching between the different types of guns was a chore to me.
the gameplay is slow and tedious, every enemy is faster than you, but this is obviously meant to be more "classic", so they come at you in swathes you cannot dodge, like those charging robot fuckers, and they also deal so much damage, i found myself frequently dying in the game. on Normal difficulty.
the forced checkpoint system is somewhat annoying as well. the boss encounters are annoying, at least the second and third one, which the checkpoint system didn't exactly help any with...

on top of that, i found it to be a visually uninteresting game, despite having a obviously ambitiuous looking cyberpunk world, and Major Fletcher being a paper-thing character, with an obvious "chosen one, messiah" persona, but he says "fuckshit" every other sentence, with a forgettable soundtrack, 6 hour long campaign, and ending on a shitty, horrible cliffhanger.

i'm glad Flying Wild Hog did better with the Shadow Warrior reboot series, and Shadow Warrior 2 is easily one of the best and most fun games of 2016, but wow. this was an annoying and painful experience. this is easily worse to play than Duke Nukem Forever that was released the same year. not even joking.

Same goes for Blake Stone! I hope Blake Stone support for ECWolf comes soon.
