The cartoon was renewed for a second season. I think they are doing fine.

MY GOD WHAT DID THEY DO TO KNUCKLES???

Playing the same game over and over is not inherently bad in and of itself, provided the game is good (we are on a Doom forum, after all). For the record, I have a Wii U, and the game I play most on it is MK8*. Granted, Nintendo aren't particularly original, but their titles are at least consistently decent. I'm eagerly awaiting the new Starfox game, and then all the system will need is a new Metroid. Preferably without any voice acting.

Call Of Duty, on the other hand, is the sort of game I prefer to watch someone else play, because playing it myself only serves to piss me off.

*On the subject of free DLC, I still haven't grabbed the Merc cars, despite them being a free download. Product placement aside, there's just something inherently WRONG with real world cars in a kart racing game.

Really wish Gaia Online had not slowly turned into this. The worst example was when the ANGELIC HALO went on sale for $1000USD. Because money.

I certainly won't bitch about Planetary Annihilation selling commanders though. Probably because they're not going to sell a super expensive one to my knowledge.

Shameless plug time: My good friend and Reelism co-conspirator The Shadsy wrote an article about the craziest Maxis games that you can't play.

Kinsie's link makes this thread worth enduring the entire last 4 pages of this thread combined.

So SimRefinery is a Chevron gift, huh? My hopes someone gets their hands on it and releases it to the world...

There's some indie dev making a Triple X Tycoon, so you may not need to wait very long. :P
