(PS2 ripping question) IRX, BNK, PMI?

If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

Well, PMW2 was released on February 24, 2002, so there's that.

EDIT: Turns out the PMI files have something to do with "Pegasus Mail"... What? I'm honestly confused here right now, guys.

The file extensions have no connection to any existing utility. They're random crap for the developer's proprietary PS2 game engine.

Is it possible to look into these sort of image files with a program at all by any chance? I've even tried converting them to several different image formats (.png, .jpg, .bmp) and still no avail.

You're going to have to figure out how to crack whatever storage format they dreamed up over at Namco Hometek.

Aw shucks...

I wonder if the Gamecube version happens to have different texture formats by any chance, Dolphin sadly doesn't work on my computer saying it's too low spec. ((Even though it runs GZDoom just fine for the most part.)) I ask this considering how I've seen HD texture packs for Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion.

Also I managed to load the BNK's up in PSound, Sadly none of them are the Rev-Roll/Butt-Bounce, most of them are what sound like ambience such as what sounds like what I presume is someone walking through forest foliage. Also managed to find the maze opening song within there and for whatever reason it's sped up and sounds ridiculous.

A thing to bear in mind about PSound is that it cannot detect the playback rate of any sounds it picks up. You will have to mess with the playback rate settings in PSound's options until you get it to sound right.

Dolphin and GZDoom are in entirely different weight divisions.

One is a near-full, near perfect, near-hardware-TAS compatible* emulation of a system with a 728Mhz Power-PC processor (so not x86 like what your PC contains).
The other is a native source port of a game written for an 80386 with 2MB RAM.

You are comparing two very different leagues of programs, here.
*Even the optical IO read times have been fully emulated to account for differences in read times between the inner and outer portions of the disc. So people could speedrun Metroid Prime with the same tactics.

IRX files are PS2-specific modules that provide analogous functionality to primitive Windows drivers. It is highly unlikely they will contain any game specific audio.
