That quote made me laugh a little.

Now it's the same character, but in a "Sean Connery is about to shoot you" pose.

Glad to hear it made someone laugh! That's why I'm here. To entertain.

Anyways, I like the new icon of yours better!

Previously was Aya Brea from Parasite Eve (PE2 incarnation)
Now it's Sophitia Alexandra from Soulcalibur (Soulcalibur IV incarnation).

For the most part I found them very easy cars to work on. However, for such an old car of the type that are usually fairly accessible, those spark plugs towards the front of the car are helluva difficult to get to and change. I even know people who have dropped the engine to change the plugs; claiming it is easier to do that than try and change them with the engine in place.
Crikey, that sounds a bit scary! Not much at the front to absorb damage, no seatbelts etc. The brakes are definitely very unforgiving. I had a brake line burst whilst going across a bridge - putting your foot on the pedal would make brake fluid piss out the side!

Very easy to work on indeed, but yes the spark plugs aren't the easiest to remove haha :)

It was - and even more so than you might think.

To elaborate, I was going down a steep-ish hill on a dual carriageway. Someone was sitting facing the opposite direction in the gap in the central reserve. He was indicating as if he was going to cross my carriageway and turn into a side road (all perfectly legitimate - if he waited for a gap in the traffic). For whatever reason, he decided to go for it. Now, if he had been turning in the way I expected, it would have been an ill advised move: too close to do comfortably, but he would probably have gotten away with it with just a dirty look from me. However, he wasn't merely cutting across my carriageway and into a side road; no, he was doing a U-turn and plonked himself right on my side of the road doing almost 0 MPH and not accelerating particularly fast. I dodged into the other lane (no time to stop, so I tried to drive around him) and as I did, he also decided to switch lanes into the fast/overtaking lane (not sure why - perhaps he'd seen me in his mirror and tried to get out of the way) and for a second time, he put himself right in front of me, and that's when I hit him.

Basically (me yellow, him red):
Spoiler:
He did the classic "sorry mate I didn't see you" but what he "didn't see" was this:

So I wasn't exactly difficult to spot.

Oh bloody hell what a twat! Boils my blood when people join a fast road slowly, then decide to go straight to the middle or fast lane. RIP Beetle. That's some wacky colour scheme you had - love it! :D glad you made it out safely. I hope the insurers took your side.

Still turned out better than I thought it ever would. And I like your choice in avatars! If anybody needs anything like that animated, tell me.

They did as far as responsibility is concerned. However, value-wise, they initially took the line of "it's a really old car, it's only worth £200". Fortunately, I'd had all my MOT work etc done by a Beetle specialist and I asked him to write a letter to the insurers about the true value of my car. It was a good few years ago now but the initial offer of £200 suddenly became a few thousand. :)

Not bad for a car that I originally bought as a damaged repairable for (coincidentally) £200.
Spoiler:
I actually saw the car on the road a good few years later. So the insurers must have sold it on rather than scrapping it.

That's pretty awesome! Just out of curiosity I did a check online and looks like it hasn't been taxed since 2006 :( so who knows how its doing now.

Now it's the same character, but in her Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate incarnation.

Also a off-topic question: Has any Zdoom forum users played the Soul series (Soulcalibur)

Not me. I was only a fan of Tekken.

Back on-topic, I stumbled upon this really cool anime-esque character mugshot from a PS1 cracktro of Monkey Magic. (Picture originally done by Static, I only had to mirror it facing left).
