Reading a book is indeed fun as long you don't get an eyesore for not taking a break! My favorite is novel full of drawings. Yes!

Perhaps he meant 'read' as in past tense.
As in referring to himself. He has read books.
Ah the vagaries of english language. Deutsch is so much simpler.

If that's true, damn. English is still hard to me. So yeah, excuse me.
Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
If he meant that, he probably would've said "I read a book" rather than "Read a book" - but who knows. >_<

Thank you for clearing that up.Oakland Raiders wrote: Correct, lol. Sorry for the confusion.

German, just like English, has both strong verbs (the ones that are called 'irregular' in English) and weak verbs, so German isn't easier in this regard.Vostyok wrote:Perhaps he meant 'read' as in past tense.

And 'read' is just one of quite few exceptional words that don't change their spelling in the past simple.

Red a book. With blood. Satan commands it.

Overkill the Overdue Rudeness!
Ahh, now i see! Sorry about that. Maybe the pronunciation of Read in past tense is different, but the spelling is completely the same. So it confuses me a little when i'm reading an article or something! English is fun.Oakland Raiders wrote:Correct, lol. Sorry for the confusion.Vostyok wrote:Perhaps he meant 'read' as in past tense.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I just got some good results in a 0-100 MPH (160.9 km/h) in my TransAm by turning the the Traction Control off. I hit 60 MPH (100 km/h) in about 4.4 seconds on my best run. It's really easy to spin the tires in this car, so I had to find the sweet spot on launch. lol. If you look closely at the green line, on the 1-3 second mark, you can see where the Traction Control System killed my throttle before kicking back in at 3 seconds. By avoiding that, and keeping tire spin to a minimum, I was able to lock that orange run in at an awesome 60 MPH/100 km/h time. This 20 year old car is still breaking hearts, haha.

I just got done playing a few rounds of Dance Dance Revolution and maimai tonight. Speaking of which, are there any other arcade rhythm game players here, out of curiosity?

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Found a mom cat and 2 kittens in the back yard. My mom's been checking around for a shelter that will take them and won't just euthanize the mother. The one kitten is a tabby like its mother, the other is black and doesn't seem quite as shy. They both dealt really well with being picked up, and we're sure they'd be great with the right people.
Still, I know that the black one is going to be harder to adopt out.

Yeah, that's always a difficult situation. What general region are you in?NeuralStunner wrote:Found a mom cat and 2 kittens in the back yard.
