Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread
Completed DOOM 4. I love it.
Currently working on an end-to-end playthrough on ITYTD to unlock the one glitched achivement (and also to see what changes they made for easy mode).

In progress:
One big issue with all the Amiga ports of Doom is that they all had red links. That is changed, full articles and all. Some of these are pretty interesting - ZhaDoomPPC, for instance, supported 800x600 resolutions on a PowerPC Amiga in 1998, and has jumping and flying support.
The latter is obviously rather unique - How many source ports do you know that implement a flying mechanic as a feature? I know one Legacy based source mod that did this and that's only because of Gokuma's recent vintage Legacy dump.
All in all, Amiga truly had some little jewels back then, during the time ZDoom was in its infancy.

Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread
Is there any way to force GZDoom to take a screenshot at a resolution that is significantly higher than the current system, full hd in my case? I'm using the lates nvidia gtx 1060 driver and both in gl and vulkan scaling doesn't deliver the actual resolution in the screenshots, it looks like the game process the game in 4k and then downscales the result using linear filter and then upscales it 200% back again with nearest neighbor to be captured in screenshot.

Here is how to degrade Doom Eternal in order to get it playable on slower systems: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIeMGobEFzA

Finally... Some spooder stuff...
Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread
Nice animation, J! I know the struggles of trying to catch Scorpions in ac:nh! Though today I've spent a large portion of my day opening my gates to visitors, so they can sell their turnips, as my prices are pretty good! (445)

Glad you like my animation, mikk. Much appreciated!!
Also i have been wondering after entering Animal Crossing fanbase... Why turnips are so special? Like it's the 2nd currency of the game and yet you can buy tons of them.
I guess it's just because of the pun(Because of "Stalk" Market ahahah)? I don't see any point of collecting them but doing the lottery. I wish i could make something different with them too.

"Turnip" and "stock" (as in company stocks/shares) are spelled differently in Japanese (蕪 and 株 respectively) but are pronounced the same way ("kabu"). So it's a bit of Japanese-language wordplay making a joke about the stock market. The English version tries to preserve the joke with the "stalk market" pun, I don't know how the Korean version handles it.Captain J wrote:Also i have been wondering after entering Animal Crossing fanbase... Nope. We just basically call it Radish and nothing else. So it was indeed the word play... And i was genuinely confused why it's still a thing because we had no proper way to make pun out of it.
And here's something i drew recently.

I'm reading a book on my country's history. We don't learn much about it on school and there are some pretty interesting details that are left out.

I thought making a megawad that works exclusively with DOOM RPG. to make a mod called Land of Devastation based off the Old BBS Door Game.
