Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread
I somehow managed to entirely lose my Wacom pen. The screen's from 2002 and I have no idea where I'd get a spare pen for it.

Just found out about this, which sucks. Gamepedia wasn't great, but at least it wasn't Wikia. Now, it is. ("Fandom" is Wikia's obnoxious new name.)

Yeeeeah it's kinda hard to explain, but a few years ago, i slept and woke up as usual. However i felt a pain in my mouth. So i looked up at the mirror and found this;
I somehow bit my own flesh while sleeping and right now it's not healed yet. I really should visit a doctor if the pain is never-ending, but this is just surprises me. I do random stuff and things when i'm asleep...- Vostyok

If it has been going on that long you should see a doctor. Any damage to the tissues of the mouth can lead to ulcers as well as other problems over time.
In the mean-time, avoid spicy foods and wash it regularly with warm, slightly salty water.
source: I look after 3 small children and the doctor is quite far from me, so I have a lot of experience with low-cost and immediate first aid.

I aqcuired a extreme sensibility for cold, hot and too sugar-ish foods in the past years. Went to the dentist and discovered that a proper treatment would cost more than twice my wage.

Thanks for the tip, fellas. Yeah, i really should visit doctor if it's not healed, whatsoever. Kinda worried, but i'm certain i can overcome this!
Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread
Captain J, there's a condition called "bruxism" where people grind their teeth in their sleep. Someone in my family was affected by this and had to wear a mouth guard (like boxers use) while she slept. Apparently the condition is stress related. If you're under a lot of stress and are waking up with a toothache or headache, it might be worth looking into. Hopefully it's just a weird one-off thing, though.

Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread
Been dealing with a lot of conflicting emotions lately, and stress to the point where I'm throwing up. Ironically, I'm probably feeling the best I ever have, at least mentally. I've discovered a lot of things about myself recently and I feel like I'm finally moving in a better direction, and one day I might truly be able to be myself.
I've probably listened to about 30 hours of just the Turrican soundtracks on repeat, since music is one of the only things that takes my mind off it.
Now, I'm only scared of the challenges that lie ahead. It feels like there's so much to do before I'm happy, but at least I KNOW what to do now.
Maybe some day soon, I'll actually be able to start and finish a project for Doom.

Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread
It's been a week since i got into my hometown back again for the end of year celebrations. Eating traditional food, having fun with old fellas from a long ass time, walking around without the stress and fear of the concrete jungle where i live the rest of the days... what else could i ask for?
My mind is saying thanks.
EDIT: I also bought Ion Maiden. WHAT A GAME, man.
