Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
i've actually had thoughts of gifting ROTT 2013 to either my brother or any of my friends, since i heard that the Steam and GOG versions would be able to play multiplayer with each other. however, i don't know if i'll actually do that, though, since i don't know a single friend of mine that has expressed interest about the game.

Finally put up a new article! http://ghastlygaming.wordpress.com/2014 ... he-threat/
Was forced to write this after I tried to classify every monster in the Strife monster lineup I was working on and couldn't think of a role for the Templar.

It's funny... I first signed up for GOG back when they were giving away Duke3D: Atomic. Since then I've also gotten free copies of the original Torchlight and Fallout 1/2/Tactics. (I also bought a game bundle at one point.) I'll go ahead and grab this too, even if it's another thing I won't play any time soon.Nash wrote:The first Dungeon Keeper game is free on GOG, go go go!

Played this game again on an emulator... god damn, this song is so good. Video games these days just don't make VGM like this anymore. :/
Not nostalgia goggles either, I'm appreciating this song musically; if someone made a song that has a similar composition style and put it out yesterday, I would obssess over it just the same.

Found my old "Pocket Boy Micro", which is a handheld with 30 built-in games which are mainly ripoffs of more successful ones.
I heard that it can be reprogrammed to run as a Commodore 64, but I'm not sure if that's actually true.

The first podcast I ever did covered this game. It's surprisingly good for being a non-canon Metal Gear game, and as you noted the soundtrack is great, although my favorite song is the final boss theme (mild spoilers):Nash wrote:Played this game again on an emulator... god damn, this song is so good. Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
is there a way to export parts of a song in FL Studio? i've had thoughts of doing a mix-album of sorts of some of my songs, and i'd want all the songs to go in with each other after each track ends, so i figured it'd be the easiest to just put all the songs into a FL project-file and export parts of the songs as they are edited.

It was added not that long ago, I remember reading a request for it in some thread, and then boom! It showed up

Most of the requests were over IRC. Some people (including mods) were talkin' about adding it and.. it happened!
