Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Been revisiting all of the big classic zdoom adventures recently.
Phocas Island 2 being up on my list next, I had no idea there was an effort to remaster it.
Also, haven't seen chopkinsca around for so long.
EDIT

I'm still trying to beat The World is Not Enough on 007 mode and I have to say: Has someone ripped sounds from that version? I know I already found unused speech, like "007, we've lost all sight of her. Report back to MI6 at once!" which was ment to be in Mission 2.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Ugh, I've just spent another 2 days without sleeping... My sleep schedule has been absolute garbage lately. Combined with a multitude of other things, it's really starting to have a significant impact on my mood. I'd been meaning to do some modding in earnest for the first time, and was looking forward to putting some ideas into action, but now that's sorta out of the question when my main concern is simply not giving up on life.
Ah well, perhaps it's just the winter season. Hopefully brighter days will bring brighter moods.

This Kickstarter looks way too promising. And here's a hint; You probably will hear some bloody familiar voice.

Stephen Weye? That's cool.
Little concerned for the budget target though. Seems pretty ambitious for what is basically a webcomic.
Stuff like this lives or dies on writing and characterisation. I hope that is both up to standard, as there isn't any examples of completed strips on the kickstarter page from what I can see.

Have a new, great job in a field I never saw myself working in, and it looks like I’ll be making real money, so my wife and I can finally move out of my folks’ place. It’s also a job that enables me to keep writing at a fair pace so I can keep moving on that dream

Ahh, congrats!! I hope your new job is not very tough. Good luck and earn well!
Yeah. I say. I just hope it lives longer than die fast. Probably gonna be a good chance for Stephen Weyte and the development crew gets famous!Vostyok wrote:Little concerned for the budget target though. Seems pretty ambitious for what is basically a webcomic.

Thanks! It’s hard work but is actually worth it, so that’s nice.
Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I've noticed something interesting when playing AV earlier:
You see what they are doing here? In case 2 and 3, the cyberdemons do not hinder you from doing anything. They can not leave their spaces to chase you. They are basically here to make you waste your ammo for a 100% kill count. They are just 20000 healthpoints.
(Case 1 is trying way too hard to be difficult, but that's a different topic).
Or maybe I just suck at the game, i don't know.
