Have you ever given QuArK a try? It's Python-based (and the 3D renderer sucks ass) but is a viable option to learning GtkR.

Update:
Well, seems I get to work on reinstalling windows. My OS harddrive died today. At least I didn't lose anything important this time.

lol. You're quite right though. It did have a lot of problems  However, it is a usable program... sort of.

@Nash: Quite frankly, I'd suggest learning GtkR for Q3, etc editing. It's not as hard as it seems, and most of it is keyboard shortcut memory.
Though I hate GtkR 1.5... They removed damn near everything that I liked about Radiant.

I actually hate Quark. It's confusing and tries to be so many things in one but doesn't excel in any of them.

I need to stop being lazy get out of WC habit before I can attempt GTKR again.

My One Gauge Shotgun is finally getting a much needed nerf- magazine size. No worries, the full size One Gauge is still overpowered and overly complicated to operate, it juts now has a 9 round magazine limit. Still working out the cocking mechanism...

Okay, so here's the shotgun for those who don't visit the moldy ARW anymore: http://rapidshare.com/files/73462797/OneGauge.zip.html

Normal Operation:
Fire: Shoots the gun.
AltFire: builds up the Street Sweeper.
Reload: stuffs a shell in. Hold to fill the magazine or to see the magazine if it's already full... but why would you wanna do that?

While holding down WeaponSpec1:
Fire: Cycles forward through the choke settings.
AltFire: Cycles backward through the choke settings.
Reload: Cycles the stagger for the Street Sweeper from short to long. Four settings.

Might be just slightly NSFW, depending on how eskewed your family/boss is, but she has no nipples or vagoo, so don't worry about it. >_>
