Fancy gore effect asides, that is one cool looking angled Powerslave revolver sprite!

Working a bit on my old WhoDunIt addon map, this actually has a release date in mind sometime! I haven't properly mapped in a while so it's an interesting way to get back into it. Hopefully releasing something helps me to complete my other maps. It's weird because my ambitions for some far outweigh my skills, and paradoxically my ideas.

whoa!!!! that looks wonderful big fan of the orange sky with the dark, almost silhouette-esque buildings in front of it, especially nice too for someone who hasn't mapped in a while
i've been working on my mod for a bit lately, trying to impliment some stuff to make the world seem a bit more "alive"...
introducing: generic civilian!! he has only 8 greeting lines and 3 campaign specific lines but he's (relatively) completely voice acted (by me, fun fact ) (also, "accidental" mod name reveal? i think not )

Nice! I love that laidback feel the voice acting has, it's extremely unexpectedly tricky to record yourself speaking naturally like that.

This looks great. I love the strong silhouette of the tower against the bright sky. Though I have a known bias toward orange skies, so take that into consideration.
Unsolicited advice post:
Spoiler:
I've been watching your work for a while now, and would love to see more of it. I am wondering though if you are suffering the same problem I did - creating these big, expansive areas and wondering what to fill them with? Wild speculation, but it was something I used to struggle with a lot.
Ambition is good. And you are certainly not lacking in skill. The ambition is what drives that skill and learn new tricks and reach new heights. What you might be getting instead is a rut where you are overthinking the problem instead of just pushing forward and trying new things.
One method I learned was to structure my work better. To think of each element as an 'encounter'. It helped me make my work flow better as I knew what each area led to and its purpose within the entire whole. If I got stuck, I would block out a new section of map and experiment, replacing that with an area I perhaps didn't think worked well.
I do hope you figure out a system that works for you. There will be many times where you are sat looking at a screen, wondering what to do next. But sometimes, like painting a blank canvass, you just need to be bold, lay down some paint, and see where it goes from there.
Looking forward to what you make next.

Brutha, the most important thing is tying a loop on something and calling it "done". [imgur]https://imgur.com/9TJHZe8[/imgur] Working on things for years is admirable in determination and never-give-up'ness, but it is also unhealthy for a sense of progression. :- )
Especially because you are always free to look back, and then fix up prior works - even if it's just minor tweaks of things that Always Bothered You, but you couldn't address When It Was Made - with the future appreciable increase in skill you have solid confirmation of. using FAL sprites by Lucas Kord, and ElectricPulse, sounds by Infinity Ward (specifically from MW19), and a few hours of my time, i've made an FN FAL for my mod
completely animated for any kind of interaction, both ADS and not, including reloads!! inspect animation isnt made for ADS though, so, oh well
