Just like Wolf3D, but with astounding quality and them weapon reloading sounds. I certainly can't wait to play this!

So, a good friend of mine thought that Heathen had some confusing features and mechanics that aren't explained too well.

Version 0.9 will feature lots of improvements across the board, basically bigger and more polished than ever before.

Well, I could certainly believe that was a scene from hell. Impressive.

Huge Doom Eternal vibe. That's awesome as hell (so to speak).

Testing some real place made with my assets and decorations. Too bad that the models can't have better colisions.

That looks amazing. On the subject of model collisions though - GZDoom would need a separate (simplified) model for collisions if it even tested for them. It's so incredibly easy to overload any decent physics engine and slow the entire thing to a slideshow when there are too many surfaces to test for.

I already use really low poly models that mimic level geometry and I think I could shave off few more triangles for collision model. So at least for my needs that wouldn't be a problem. Of course I can imagine somebody loading bunch of DooM Eternal models converted to MD3 and than wonder why it plays 1 FPS.

One day... I started a map some time ago but it went nowhere and I got distracted by something else next day.

I would like to do some different types of roofs too. And some more varied half-timber walls. Those from Heretic are quite limited. I also got into trouble when trying to make inside darker - it also makes part of the model darker and that just looks bad.
