Never, ever, ever trust XWE's backups. Make your own.

That said, I've had very few problems with my recent (latest?) XWE beta build since moving to Vista.

Betas, by definition, are not stable. Betas should not be used for any production software uses.

What a load of shit.
xwe did corrupt my 32in24 map backup once, infact it's the reason why it was delayed almost 10 minutes past midnight that night

A little Doom Builder backup script. Totally unrelated with the preceding discussion.

Wasn't happy with the old toilet, plus it looked crappy (no really!) in-game so I decided to do it again from scratch. It has sexier curves now, and it's symetric so I can UV map it easier.

I'm working on a program that loops thru map's SIDEDEFS and SECTOR lumps and compiles a list of textures/flats used, then goes into P[P]_START and F[F]_START and deletes all textures/flats that aren't being used. Afterwards, it rebuilds the TEXTURE1 and PNAMES lumps. This effectively saves effort of doing this yourself.

Right now, I have the class to handle WAD files about finished. Unfortunately, it is in C# (Using wx.NET). (In b4 .NET fag, Microsoft fag, etc.)

And from the looks of it, it looks like you guys need a good reliable program that does everything XWE does, sans crashing. o_O I'll keep it in mind.

I'm currently working on getting my residence changed from Caro to Otisville. Lol, living with sister.

Yeah, SLumpEd pretty much fills that hole completely.
