If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

Nice job, very neat. You'd never know there used to be a shield there.

Well, I've been teasing and bothering the Discord servers long enough. I think it's time to drop a few screenies of my upcoming project here too:

No release date yet, but the situation just evolved from an bad alpha to a less crappy beta. Expect news soon. ;)

Is the spawn face at the last screenshot model or voxel? It has quite an interesting texture!

Believe it or not... it's a sprite! And it has rotations. Extracted from the SNES cartridge ;)

Woah!
This effect looks amazing!
Also I spot that the blue one has an even bigger sword, which is bonus points from me instantly.

That is looking great so far!
I can't even begin to imagine how you got that arm.
It looks like it's straight from the game itself!

That spell system certainly looks interesting.
I'd like to see how exactly it works in action.
Doesn't look like it will be comfortable to switch in battle though.

As it stands now, think on the ammo dropper from Brutal Doom. I pretend to test it with the keyboard arrows, and if possible, a script that allows using the mouse to select it :)

Behold, The Cats of Carnage!

Doing for cats what MBF did for dogs, these cats are badasses that can gang up on demons, jump at a lost soul and maul it in mid-air, eat corpses to regain health, hunt enemies for food, and even beg the player for food if there's nothing small enough for them to kill! You can even "use" them and they purr or meow .. or maybe if you're unlucky ... just ignore you.

Full details and downloads here - have fun :)

Finally got the last feature I wanted to do done:
Spoiler:
But with this, now all that's left to do is make sure there are no bugs and make a custom help screen.

Very nice and super detailed addition for Strife! It's darn impressive that you actually can squash the enemy from above. Also Switchable armament is great too.

But i wonder if the player could get out of the armor if it's completely destroyed? Or they die inside of it?

A small video showcasing my upcoming Spawn mod. Apologies for the bad quality.

Bad Quality? Nah it's really not. I can see the details going on with both vid and the mod. I really can't wait to play it!

Spoiler: water
Uses a flow map texture to determine movement direction, and adjusts the normal map dynamically with the direction and velocity of water flow. Also samples another texture for the surface debris/foam, which moves with the water and 'collects' in areas with slower moving water. Loops seamlessly.

I am interested in this beautiful water effect.
where can I get it?

Check this post ("my shader" link. Note that it only really works with dynamic lights, so playing with it in normal Doom maps is not the greatest.

Hopefully this PR (if it gets approved) will help alleviate it somewhat. :)
