Well that's kinda the issue when you use chroma keying.

Yeah I figured some people reading this might not know. Re-reading what I wrote though I think I was a little hard on it. There's still Ambient Occlusion, Dynamic Coloured Lights, Bloom and FXAA available to give it a modern feel. And once I've got the basic effect out I'm going to experiment with something that could fix translucency for a version 2. Right now I just have to firm up the handling of the way they overlap and it should be almost done

Ahh, i remember this project. Looks really promising and the sound effect definitely sounds smooth and fits!

Been still working on my mapset, Tribeam went ahead and Built me a new GHZ Texture w/ Normal maps and specular maps which is amazing, and I'm having alot of fun playing with the new Spot lights. never going back to zandronum again after being spoiled by this.

After battling some issues with the timer which meant a gradual increase in pixelation (it really wanted to fulfill it's namesake ) there's finally a working version of RetroSpectre
