Yeah, kinda. More modding than playing to be honest.Vostyok wrote: How many of us still play Hexen, btw?

Re: The WIP Thread
If you want to make a mod for hexen, mod it before enjoying the game. And if you are opposite, do the opposite thing; enjoy the game rather than modding first, i guess! Now it sounds like some kind of lousy motto i could think of.
Add some cool colors then it would look even more awesome!CWolf wrote: yet need to be done

Re: The WIP Thread
W... Wolfendoom on Heretic now? :O
Re: The WIP Thread
More of my Raven-compat pack for FinalDoomer. Just as each class has a different weaponset, each class gets a different artifact that replaces Heretic's 'Time Bomb of the Ancients' and Hexen's 'Flechettes'. AAliens' drops a lightball that goads enemies into attacking it, then explodes. Problem is, in Heretic, the monsters just charge it, then stand in front of it, forever stuck in the first frame of their attack state. Also the alien letters around the base don't seem to rotate at the same speed every time you drop one, and it sometimes explodes too soon.

That is awesome! I'm really looking forwards to the compat pack, let me know if you need any sprites I'd be happy to help out!

Re: The WIP Thread
Well, those doors definitely achieve Descent-ish levels of "cool door quotient."

I'm finally seeing this and it's been too long since Psychophobia... Although the door in this game was fancily-textured vanilla doors. But this one's really new and different!

Aren't you glad you're not using Doom doors now?Zanieon wrote:Cool doors
Props on getting some weight into the animation. (The short movement, pause, then full open.) It's pretty convincing.
