That's some UE-tier visuals right there. Kind of a shame to populate it with chunky pixel monsters!Guardsoul wrote:The secret lab in E1M3 where the soulsphere is located

Re: The WIP Thread
Further work on Kinetic Mines.
- Mines now detach automatically after their little light blinks 20 times. I'll probably adjust this.
- Mines no longer attach to walls with a special applied, so they'll bounce off doors etc. to avoid problems that come with moving surfaces.
- If they somehow do get attached to a moving surface (like a wall triggered by a switch elsewhere, or the inside wall of a platform) they'll detach if they touch the floor (which they usually do if they get in that circumstance and bug out). Still need to figure out a good way to have them detach if they touch the ceiling, so as to handle crushers, elevators etc.
- Detached mines can be picked back up and re-used. Waste not want not, right?

I seem to hear this a lot about my levels. Makes me happy.Dark-Assassin wrote:Looks really quake like.
Actually, the texture pack there is used often in the Quake community, so I'm not surprised it looks like it.

Re: The WIP Thread
Works on the new Aracnocide update started on 24/06. This means i am almost a month non-stop working more than 3~4 hours a day on this. I hope the results get a warm welcome among players. The weapons and classes part is 98% done, i'd say. In a few days i might bring up the enemies pack and then the game will see a new release.
