If it's not ZDoom, it goes here.

That's some UE-tier visuals right there. Kind of a shame to populate it with chunky pixel monsters! :)

Further work on Kinetic Mines.
  • Mines now detach automatically after their little light blinks 20 times. I'll probably adjust this.
  • Mines no longer attach to walls with a special applied, so they'll bounce off doors etc. to avoid problems that come with moving surfaces.
  • If they somehow do get attached to a moving surface (like a wall triggered by a switch elsewhere, or the inside wall of a platform) they'll detach if they touch the floor (which they usually do if they get in that circumstance and bug out). Still need to figure out a good way to have them detach if they touch the ceiling, so as to handle crushers, elevators etc.
  • Detached mines can be picked back up and re-used. Waste not want not, right?
This should hopefully reduce/balance players turning hallways into none-shall-pass death traps and trivializing encounters, as well as reducing the odds of changing level geometry causing wall mines to look or act like shit.

I seem to hear this a lot about my levels. Makes me happy.

Actually, the texture pack there is used often in the Quake community, so I'm not surprised it looks like it.

Works on the new Aracnocide update started on 24/06. This means i am almost a month non-stop working more than 3~4 hours a day on this. I hope the results get a warm welcome among players. The weapons and classes part is 98% done, i'd say. In a few days i might bring up the enemies pack and then the game will see a new release.
