Ran Reelism on a Pentium
was an interesting experience seeing it 20fps in the menu (still rendering the view of that castle level) but 6spf running in-game. There's a speed hit somewhere, maybe regarding actors

Uh... which pentium?
Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Judging by performance, probably "the" Pentium.

Just got back from a bowling trip for my cousin's birthday. I actually won the second game. And I sucked. XD

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Pentium pentium, not Pentium II, III, IV, D, Extreme. Just Pentium.
150mhz at that
ROTT tc runs a little better, but with the same relative in-game slowdown. Also Doom itself seems to run 10fps ingame now. Previous Zdoom 2.5's ran it much better. This is all at 320x200x8 (and there's a weird bug where it keeps resetting to 1024x650 LB)
something's strange because it makes reelism slow to a crawl on modern PCs too

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Spent 10 minutes in QBasic writing a converter to adapt some dialog into ACS, that would probably have taken me an hour+ to do by hand (and another hour fixing transcription errors). Thank the goddess for automation, and QBasic.
