Can't Hear Anything When Launching GZDoom

The problem is in the title. I cannot hear anything AT ALL whenever I launch GZDoom. No menu music, no gunshots, no background music, no monster roars, anything! I tried installing fomodex.dll, I tried rebooting, I tried reinstalling (both regular Doom and GZDoom itself), I tried defragmentation, I tried cleaning my registry, but nothing worked! I even made sure to check my sound settings in Doom, but nothing was out of the ordinary or muted.

I don't have any sound mods installed either (not anymore, anyway) so that can't be the problem! This issue arised after I installed (and uninstalled) this WAD here https://sites.google.com/site/nitroacti ... e-doom-wad

What GZDoom version? Can you provide the startup log?

FMOD(Ex) hasn't been used since GZDoom 3.0. It uses OpenAL now, and the dll should be included with the download package.

It's 3.1. I don't know how to provide a startup log though, as DOOM launches before I can copy what's being shown in the launcher.

NOTE: It's The Ultimate DOOM on Steam

Start GZDoom with +logfile gzdoom.log command line options and post content of gzdoom.log file.

Is that the device you're listening through? Did you specifically set that in the options, or is it the system default?
