He he, I guess it must be #1 then. :) I just checked back - it is actually this very thread that has Randy's screen shot showing the texture/flat/sprite interchangeability. Look back to the first page of this thread to see it. timmie also posted a screeny of ZdoomGL running Randy's test map (on about page 4 of the thread - at my present screen res).

As for the editing docs - yeah they need updated, but (as you know) they are being worked on and a complete set in the new spiffy format will not be too far away (hopefully).
