Re: Getting some bad frame loss on UZDoom and GZDoom

Hard to say with AMD as I have an Nvidia card, but is there anything in your driver settings about opengl/vulkan using a specific adaptor? Sometimes it can be set to onboard or something, though 5600x doesn't have any graphics component as far as I know. As others have said if you delete your .ini ...

Re: Need an expert in DOOM lighting

I swear I've had this problem before and I think it was something in my .ini file.

If you delete or rename your uzdoom.ini/gzdoom.ini file does the problem go away?

Re: [WIP] Wolfenstein: Definitive Legacy Alpha v0.9.1

Nice update news, those sprites are looking great. Maybe a little bit of 'pillow shading' on the arms, but really nice colour choices, and the metals look great. It's your mod, so obviously do whatever you feel like. But I think maybe gold and diamond looking upgrades might look a bit tacky, and not ...

Re: Gibbable Vanilla monsters (for Nashgore VE)

Hey, nice mod.

Something that might make the showcase easier (it's fine what you already have) but you can type mdk in the console to gib whatever you're looking at. This can also be bound to a key to make it even easier.

And I think 'no target' will make monsters not see you.

Thanks for the mod!

Re: [WIP] Wolfenstein: Definitive Legacy Alpha v0.9.0

Nice mod, lots of little details I appreciate like the hats and helmets flying off. I think the enemies are a bit spongey, sometimes it takes about half a mag to kill and ammo is a bit more scarce, and especially at the start when your accuracy is pretty poor (unless firing in bursts) then you have ...

Re: ReLite

Thanks for the response. Relite seems much more robust, despite having fewer settings. It really is transformative on many maps. Closest we'll get to a lighting overhaul without engine changes, it's really impressive stuff. I will try what you've suggested for some of those maps with troubling ...

Re: ReLite

Glad this is still being worked on, it really does add so much. I do have a few questions. Interestingly I generally find re-lite to get worse fps than relight, would you say re-lite is essentially a replacement for relight or do they just do different things? I find myself switching to relight when ...

Re: AccuDeathV2.0: A Doom/Heretic/Hexen Death Effects Mod [Major Update!]

Nice mod, looks to be nice and compatible too.

I was wondering how have you made your screenshots look like that? They have a real 'back of the box screenshots' look that I really dig.

Re: Please help me install Brutal Doom AND Russian Overkill

I don't think these 2 mods would be compatible with each other without a lot of editing. It may work with brutal monsters only, in which case you'd probably load brutal monsters after russian overkill. I just had a quick look and found this mod. Don't know if it still works but seems to be what you ...

Re: Relighting v4.0156b - many improvements

I think this mod is just getting better and better, except for one change that you made. I don't think the way you've done the wall shadows is as realistic anymore, I don't think the shadow would end on the floor before hitting the wall, I'd say that would require 2 light sources. I think in order ...

Re: Relighting v4.0146b

Good example of sidedef baked lighting for those who have not seen it: https://i.postimg.cc/Fzgmqq9f/E2M2.gif This is NOT done with dynamic lights. It changes with the sector lighting but is otherwise baked. Incredible! And you figured out the mildoom bug, I thought it must be something with the ...

The chunkyness isn't really my style but the way you draw over them to make them look like sprites is flawless, very good work.

Re: Relighting v4.0145b - slightly more accurate lights

Ok I just tested that issue with Mildoom 3. No reshade. RTX 2070. fps goes way down to 1, literally 1 fps if I just stand at the jump gap point before going up the stairs to the red key on doom 2 map 2. Very strange bug, haven't had an issue like this with other mods, it's not really an issue, I ...
