A bloody good map. The detailing, some of the larger door designs, and the lighting, are particularly good.
Monster placement is on point, though I wish the end room had more enemies.
Overall this whole map is a great way to kill 20 minutes.
Toto was a nice touch, lol.

Best implementation of D2016 mechanics I've seen so far.

Re: [0.10.6] Gun Bonsai -- everything-compatible weapon upgrading
This mod is awesome and the compatability is impressive to say the least. I've had this in my loadout for a while and it adds a new layer of progress to megawads. I tried it with various gameplay mods including old ones from before 2016 and it works fine with them as well. However, I think some of ...

Re: Kshetra Keep - 1-level WAD with some voxel decorative stuff
Excellent map, very well designed. The secret with the books and the plasma rifle was :3:, and the fight in wheat field was very cool. Would love to see more maps like this. Edit: I just noticed this thread is old AF and was recently necrobumped, but whatever, this map deserves some more recognition ...

[Request] Angled crossbow sprites
I'm looking for some good angled crossbow weapon sprites. Preferably something fantasy/medieval themed but more modern looking stuff can work in a pinch.

Re: D4DHF v0.3 - "Cloak and Dagger" [Add-On]
Just to clarify, I didn't say there will be a limit to weapon capacity - I said I would like to enable the player to drop weapons. You could still carry all of the weapons. You would simply have a dedicated key bind for dropping your currently held weapon, so you can manage your arsenal exactly the ...

Re: [D4D Addon] Gibbable corpses, flexible monster types (v2
I decided to make a small mod for it, which doesn't have any official title because I couldn't think of any. :P BeedDown (pronounced like beat-down). Anyways, just dropping by to give you some kudos on your Doom 1 SSG implementation. I did something like that too but your way with the ...

Re: D4DHF v0.3 - "Cloak and Dagger" [Add-On]
Posting a quick update with some clarifications since I've been getting some questions recently: Q: This mod doesn't work on GZDoom 2.3 / Latest D4D, halp!? A: That's right, nothing changed, this add-on still requires GZDoom 2.2 and D4D 2.0.3 to run. D4D has gone through a big code overhaul and HF ...

Re: Looking for some good Diablo-likes. Any recommendations?
If you're okay with a game that's more story-driven and dialogue heavy, Dungeon Siege 2 (and 1 also) is great, and the class system is pretty fun IMO. Avoid the third one though, they messed it up. There's also The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing (yes that whole thing is the name). A very solid ...

I believe most armies have programs like that. I started off as a Corporal in the IAF because of a program I was in.

Rule of thumb: If you have a gif of a monster that looks like it's dancing, share it with the world to see.Enjay wrote:the way I did it was that he shifted his weight from one leg to another every time he switched weapons and it looked even more like he was dancing.
