I understand if you can't actually run it, but (if these sorts of effects are already in as you said), you could download Brutal doom and look at the decorate code for the weapons that use this feature, to learn how it's done.

Sorry to bump it but does anyone have any ideas on my compilation problem? http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=24955&start=1455#p695863 I recompiled wxWidgets from latest version again but no joy. It seems strangely difficult to search this issue and the Slade forum has no similar posts.

Please don't take offence but in my opinion it will be hard to find any because they serve no practical purpose. Extra barrels generally serve to increase the firing rate, or decrease the heating of each barrel. As assault rifles already have poor accuracy on full auto, if greater stopping power ...

Thanks, I have thought about this a lot - my own project potentially uses only 1 palette per map anyway. Originally I felt it was useful only to combine areas with different palettes as one map for ease of maintenance/scripting of events between the two areas. However, I now think it could be useful ...

Not familiar with Photoshop, but you want to set interpolation to "None" and then it will just copy the pixels in enlargement rather than blending them.

Could you post the TEXTURES lines you've used to scale the new SKULA1 and B1 sprites and anything else (except the sprite itself) that might be needed to reproduce this?

I swapped out the SKULA1 and SKULB1 sprites but couldn't reproduce this, do you have different scaling factors set for the two names? What is the visual change that you see?

Doing an image search they seem to be a very similar design to double barrelled shotguns. They either have one barrel over the other or two side-by-side. You can't have a scope because one of the barrels is offset. I'd probably just go for a thinner, longer barrelled shotgun appearance. http://www ...
