Trust me you ARE IMAGINING THINGS Maybe that should make you think about what you post to others since you always berate people on a personal level. Last topic was the hot ip download idea. Talk about negative feedback :) I just explain things in as factual a matter as I can. Just the nuts and bolts ...

You are funny, I'll give you that. You are afraid to post that at NEWDOOM and so you come here to carry on in a manner that would get you banned there. Go ahead Graf, let's see how you fare there in the same way you post here. Let's see who is actually the one who gets banned. That would quickly ...

Nice description of yourself again  Hormones again :?: What you think is Ridicule is just your own insecurity Graf. It's just about a freeking other way of doing things. BFD. And I didn't insult you at all till[as always] you couldn't handle it. Disagreeing with you is not the same as insulting ...

But it's the people who create the ports that decide what happens here. Unless you can convince them that there is an overwhelming advantage, to both the ports and the community, in converging the ports (because, let's face it, this is the logical extension of this proposal) then they're simply not ...

Grow up Graf. Perhaps too many female hormones - let's just say you talk like a woman :) ... Truth be told, I can't stand the speeches of females It makes me sad to see you initially request support for your node format but later attempt to insult Graf Zahl by calling him a woman, as if there is ...

Grow up Graf. Perhaps too many female hormones - let's just say you talk like a woman :) Satisfied now  Give me a list. LOL. I gave a list you are just too lazy to look. The issue is quantity, not quality. Seems simple enough to understand. Beginners and most level designers do not script. All ...

Although I think the DOOM palette is quite limited [been gone over to death already], the picture ENJAY posted can be made to look pretty good with dithering. This is merely presented as an example of various methods available to help the problem and not intended to contradict anyone. I think it's ...

Must you take everything on a personal level? Must be a hormone thing and is NOT the way to discuss alternate idea [a concept you might consider]. It's not a campaign against the format [ a totally negative pov that I just don't share ]. It is instead [ and it seems I have to keep repeating this ...

You blithely skipped over the crossport issue. Nothing you stated changes that problem. For 40 levels who cares. But I don't think 40 of them exceed the old node specs - otherwise the first zd level group project never would have claimed to be the biggest and that level actually stayed within the ...

A small corner automap would be far more preferable to the big overlay most of the time IMO. I actually played with that for the editing stuff. Wasn't sure. Pretty easy to do, although what I did was just a quick experiment. Most of the work is actually putting it in as a menu option. Will try that ...

Anyway, if I built GL nodes for all the levels I have decided to keep in my collection the size difference on HD is ca. 1GB between ZDoom's compressed GL nodes and the uncompressed ones (V2 or V3 depending on the size of the level.) Well since the expanded format [either one] only kicks in if the ...

Aha, clarity! Well anyway, if this is that easy to add then I don't see why it shouldn't be. What's the fuss about? Exactly - should be no fuss at all. It's very easy to add to any port. That was the main focus - establishing a standardized format that everyone would adopt. Very easy to code and ...

R3Dedit 1.6.18 ingame 3D Thing editing support
R3Dedit now supports 3D Thing editing  You can move any Thing interactively in 3D mode in any level- press the T key in editing mode to toggle. In addition, you can rotate objects with different views and the view is shown just like it is in the game. [edit: press the < > keys to rotate a ...
