Ah, thank you all for the info. It's not vital that the branch levels save or not. I was just worried saving the state of a very large monster/item-filled level with a lot of moving sectors might cause memory and loading issues. Out of curiosity is there a easily built in way to do the following? Or it is just basically the same thing as Hexen? You have a central hub level that where there are 3 exits, each exit sends you to the a map where the game plays normally in a linear fashion with a series of maps, one after another ...

That small alcove uses a portal. Something might have changed in the way portals work in the newest GZDoom. Lemme go check.
EDIT: Just tested with the latest GZDoom version and the portal works as it should. Maybe its something with mobile or you have some GZDoom specific option turned off?

All of thesee sprites are looking absolutely amazing! Especially the SSG. Definitely the best SSG sprite set I've seen in all my years. Keeping doping the amazing work.

I was planning on restarting after I finished some artwork, but unfortunately I had sprained my dominant shoulder and was unable to work on much for the last couple of months. So everything is behind schedule.
