You can tottaly already do that with sprite names... Look at the Revenent's walking forward sprites. lookie at wiki You can even do MSILA0B0 if you want. Sorry about the bump, but I wanted to ask: Couldn't you ideally convert most of those formats to .raw (which ZDoom apparently does support)? Any one have any idea how one would go about doing that though? I have a rather large collection of adlib music myself...

JPEGs suck and are evil. Don't use them. Ever. If you use JPEG your penis will fall off. Use PNG for images on the web. Or gif if you REALLY need to. Yeah, maybe give ZDoom the ability to save gifs. Personally I like to see a TC with crazy over the top stunts using this stuff. ZDoom May Cry anyone?

Also, any chance some buttons could be eliminated? Like make lunge double tap forward (and a version for side-dodge and back-dodge too).

Hmm, maybe I'm exploiting a bug in .96x then? As for exploding; as it's spawned on the ground, and has a speed of zero, it should just sit there without exploding until it hits something. To tell you the truth, I am a bit confused on how the puddles ever worked at all. Because as far as I could remember a projectile that is sitting on the ground and not moving can never impact with anything. In fact, shouldn't that puddle explode as soon as it touches the ground anyway?

I am kind of disappointed the trail and projectile don't actually do hexen-style poison damage (which you can do if you subclass a poison projectile).

You can make non-looping mods pretty easily (C?? effect and B?? effect), and you could just import a wave as an instrument and play it once if you want.

Question: Could you render the viewpoints with two 256 color palettes and then overlap them in 16/32 bit color? ZDoom already supports 16/32 bit color modes, it just doesn’t render things that way, right? This is a silly idea, but still.
