I'm still here. I may not have made this post if QBasicer hadn't drawn this topic to my attention on the phone earlier tonight. Anyways... I'm simply going to ignore any wild accusations being flung at me left and right and answer the original question. I have worked on DTCA a little bit during the ...

I figured as much. BAH! If only someone had made a decent Linux editor I wouldn't have to map in Windows.

Here's a task for you Chris. See if you can convert Doom Builder's source to Linux. It doesn't work in Wine and it's currently the only reason I bother with Windows.

I think I know what the problem is. My system isn't properly extracting rar files even though I have unrar installed. The neccessary files have not been extracted. Can somebody please take the contents of 96src.rar and put it in a tar.bz2 for me please. EDIT: Never mind. I went and installed rar and ...

Okay, I've done everything that was necessary before starting to install Zdoom, but once I try that it's errosville for me. When trying to patch: bash-2.05b# patch -p0 < changes.diff can't find file to patch at input line 4 Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option? The text leading up to this ...

Where can I get my hands on the actual Zdoom for Linux tar.bz2? Seeing as this is just a patch it isn't the whole thing and I want to be able to run Zdoom in Linux.

[DECORATE] Hurting a player touching a monster.

Is there anyway to have a monster damage the player if he touches it? Kinda like the Duke3d bosses. I need this to give my Mega Cyberdemon a form of defense if the player gets really close to him.

Thanks for the tip HotWax. They WERE working, but out of all the things to be wrong, I had to increase the Z height of the MapSpots. Before the battle starts the platform is raised 96 pixels, and I guess the MapSpots aren't carried with them. I also had to add some one time use variables to as to ...

Non Functioning Script Functions

I can't see anything wrong with the following script. It works perfectly when ThingCount (0, 600) reaches 0, but for all of the others, it doesn't work. The mapspots ARE there with the appropriate tags so I don't see what is wrong. script 15 (void) // Caco-Boss Script { if (GameSkill() >= SKILL_HARD ...
