Re: [WIP] Skin Pack
Haha, thanks guys! I suppose I just enjoy making stuff. :P Anyways, here's a first full rotation for the Silencer, though I'm probably going to go back and finish Harry first before I continue any further. http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb134/Cropsy_Doom/SILENCER-R.png If you could style the ...

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Pixel boobs? Hardly.... I like the idea of having sacrifices in a .wad. Which reminds me of Blackthrone for some reason. Try to add a bit more detail in the face and they I'd say you have a win!

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
Wow... Glad to see an updated version was actually made. I wanted the older version for the 256 colors. :D Yes Enjay there was a version for the Amiga and Mac as well. Identical in function. I may get the newer version once I've mastered 3.0. I may even add in new tree's models via 3DS/autodesk. It ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
could you give the actual name of the program? would like it if you answered this, Tragos. Seconded, I wanted to have a go at it myself. I mentioned it on my post here: http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=30012 Vista Pro 3.0 is the program and it is very rare. I was lucky to receive the one ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
Excellent! Thank you! I may be able to find USGS or a Digital Elevation Model of this landscape. If so I can create a 100% accurate replica of the original Doom sky. I could even find that very same angle and set of mountains if I scan the terrain long enough. @InsanityBringer That's still a great ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
I would like to re-create the original sky from the first Doom. The image below is not related but is one of a series of new sky graphics I am working on. Doom sky from Wikipedia. I wish I had more angles for reference. I can create canyons like this very easily. http://upload.wikimedia.org ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
Tragos, those Mars skies look great. Can the program you are using do 6-faced GZdoom style skies or is it limited to flat images? Its a flat image but I'm sure you could piece together a Gzdoom style sky by manually adjusting the camera angles. The terrain rendered in that image is a few miles long ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
Here is one more. Another example how landscape generation can provide a solid foundation for a new background image. Still needs work but you get the idea.

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
Landscape Generation I am generating landscape images using some old software by the now defunct Virtual Reality Laboratories, Inc. This should be very useful for creating Doomish looking skies and backgrounds for mods. Images are created using a 256 color palette and can be exported in PCX or ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
Also Terminal Velocity was a DOS game. Fury3 was built to take advantage of Windows, despite TV still looking a lot better in my opinion. I think this is part of the reason for the difference in the audio. You have to admit how creative some of these developers had to be when working with the ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
But it still blew your ear drums in a satisfying way. I remember getting fancy 5 watt speakers from Radio Shack just because I loved the tunez so much.
Fury3 also had decent music.
