Hacx on the IWAD list

IMO, Hacx should be on the "Pick an IWAD" menu.

Needs doom2.wad, hacx.wad, hacx.deh to run.

fastmonsters bug

When you enable sv_fastmonsters 1 in a level, all monsters will be fast except the Demons / Spectres until you die / start a new game.

- The option of turning the sound off, I agree with but I disagree with
turning them off altogether
It doesn't matter if you agree or not, your opinion has no say in how I choose to play a game.

Graf Zahl wrote:That can't be. Doom.wad is never loaded when Strife.wad is loaded. I just checked it and I always get the correct sounds - and I have all IWADs in the same directory.
Well I don't get the correct sounds so obviously something is wrong.

Small stuff for ZDoom

Strife - add a quick-use medpatch (or the next higher medical aid if you don't have whatever else) key for Strife - add a console command like "fullstats" or something to get full stats - make it so that if you talk to a shopkeeper it shows a coin sprite in the corner and the ammount of gold you ...

Problem when doom.wad is present

If doom.wad is present (or doom2.wad, I'm not sure because I have all the supported IWADs in one dir) in the same dir as the strife.wad (strife1.wad) then certain Doom SFX play instead of the ones in Strife (such as the spider-bot uses the sounds of the spider mastermind). I made a seperate dir and ...

Some bugs

- When you get the crossbow, you are able to select the poison arrow mode even though you have no poison arrows
- Killing the guy in the bar after you talk to him is supposed to open a door for you to flip a switch, not trip the alarms

I'd love to see a DDF / EDF-like system for ZDoom. Do things like add new player classes to Doom, Heretic or Hexen, add new items, weapons, alt attacks, reloading, tons of cool stuff like that.

Hexen demo not supported...

But then again, it uses the filename hexen.wad. Randy, how about adding it to the IWADs list if it is named hexdem.wad or something?
