Re: Custom Texture Thread.
Huh. Interesting. I have to say your placement choices seem a little odd to me for most of them, but I do like the logo overall.Hellstorm Archon wrote:Who remembered when the UAC is apparently going to be a thing, according to this website?

Switch puzzle help
Here's what I'm trying to do. I've made an area of my Heretic map that is basically a prison cell. As such, the line has the GATMETL5 texture across the middle as well as the IMPASSABLE flag. I'm trying to make a switch puzzle that will unlock the cell when all of the switches have been disengaged ...

Polyobj door
OK. I have (finally!) a properly constructed swinging double door. The problem is that I want it to stay open after the special gets activated. No data on the wiki or in Rick's tutorials.
Any ideas anyone?

Sorry about the bumpage, I just got back. *hugs computer* Anyway, I was really more concerned about the underwater bit. Can a person swim up and down? I seem to recall that you could drown underwater, but I haven't heard much of it since. I ask because if freeform movement is possible, I won't have ...

I'd like to help make a track or two. I had a brilliant idea as I was riding in a car to Arizona, a good 6-hour drive. I would like to know, however, how well ZDoom is fixed for working underwater. I can do it the traditional Boom style, but I'd really rather not if ZDoom can do it better some other ...

Well, I used to be a ZDoom snob until Eternity came out and I got involved with some early bug testing. Now I have Vavoom, Eternity, ZDoom, Legacy, Doomsday, EDGE, and PrBoom installed. And instead of warez I actually own all of the Dooms, Heretic, Hexen, and Strife is in the mail. ^.^ And yeah, I ...

As they say in the forums at some other website: Posts are best left as quality, NOT quantity. There's no reason at all to have a high post count. There don't appear to be any ranks on these forums, and having lots of posts does not signify in any way that you are better than anybody else. Think ...

Hmm, that is sad that they switched engines; they're the only reason I downloaded Doomsday. It is a good TC, though. I had been using Vavoom to get my 3D fix before that. While I like the engine, there really isn't much out for it, which is why my Heretic Project™ (One) will be for Vavoom. To get ...
