Re: Translating GZDoom's text content. Read if you want to help
I don't notice any difference with that option enabled or disabled. What does it do?

Re: Translating GZDoom's text content. Read if you want to help
There is a problem with the macros: they don't work for regional variants. If we use "ao_esp" in the European Spanish column it will work because the language of "ao_esp" is set as "es", and the column for European Spanish is labeled as "es", but if we try to use "ao_esp" in the column for Hispanic ...

Re: Translating GZDoom's text content. Read if you want to help
And the missing macro for Italian is identical to the "ao" ones already used for Spanish and Portuguese. The good thing is that Google Docs supports regular expressions, so fixing that would be easy. ● Search: %o è stato (\S+)o\b ● Replace: %o è stat@[ao_ita] $1@[ao_ita] ● Search: %o è (\S+)o\b ● Rep ...

Re: Translating GZDoom's text content. Read if you want to help
In any case it would be "sprajto", but taking into account what the objective of Esperanto is, using a new word that not everyone will understand (because they won't even find it in any dictionary or Wikipedia) doesn't convince me, mainly because Esperanto is an agglutinative language and that's how ...

Re: Translating GZDoom's text content. Read if you want to help
Esperanto doesn't have a word for "sprite". What is its meaning all the times it's mentioned in the file? The player? The NPCs? The weapons? The collectables? Any interactive thing? By the way, do we have to wait until the next update to see the new translations? I'm seeing the same texts since the ...

What fonts exactly? Because I noticed Esperanto is missing the letters for the main menu of "Strife".

Re: Translating GZDoom's text content. Read if you want to help
I'm going to need some help reviewing a submission. This morning some person shared the following Danish translation with me, but there's a few things in there that make me suspect it is machine translated and poorly edited afterward, like inconsistent translations of certain phrases or occasional ...
