How can I patch a brightmap in filter folders?

So I know how to imply brightmaps on custom textures but I'm struggling on how to apply brightmaps on patches and texture folders in the filter folders. For example in map 01 in Master Levels for Doom 2. Or in Map 27 in TNT. I checked in slade to see if both were the same size and they were. Just ...

I'm curious, is there a way to creation an options menu where the player can toggle between custom speed and default speed? I've been looking around Doomworld and other Discord servers and could not find an answer. I need guidance please?

I've been struggling to find something that could help me add this to my mod, thank you! I now wonder, can you change color of these arrows like say you want the triangle arrow to be green much like in Doom 64?

I'm making a nailgun but something is wrong

I'm doing a weapons mod as a side project and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong with my decorate code. Can someone around here give me a hand and see what I need to fix?
