I did some tests, BD 21.9.0 seems to work fine. Something in 21.10.0+ changed and causes the fps drop. I might dive into the changelog to see if I can make sense of it. The fps isn't great, still drops to 20ish, but it's better. I might try some older versions later as well.

I noticed that I take a gigantic hit to FPS while running this and Brutal Doom. I think it might to be related to the extra decorations/lights added by BD. For example, E2M1 the little candles at the start are turned into fancy red candles by BD, and while it adds a really really cool red glow with ...

Agreed. I wonder if it's because BD has so many decorates that doom overloads a buffer of some sort when run on Obsidian built maps with lots of prefabbed stuff, pillars, details, etc. I'll run a few more test when I get a chance, and if anyone else has thoughts or time to test as well that'd be ...

Running with Brutal Doom I get "Too many DECORATE translations" after a few minutes in game. I've got mostly default settings, with some adjustments to monster count.

Is it possible to have a menu option to use strafe left/right to select the cards like in v2, as opposed to the arrow keys as is it now? Does the brutal doom compatibility patch still work with 3.1/3.2? It doesn't seem to work properly for me after a few tests. Sometimes all of the monsters despawn, other times only some do. It's not really a deal breaker, just a bit weird.

When I load CorruptionCards-v3.1.pk3, no cards pop up in game. I'm using questzdoom, which I think is gzdoom 4.3.3, is that version too old to properly run the mod? If so, is there a version that would work with 4.3.3?

Are there older versions still available anywhere? Specifically looking for a version that will run with gzdoom 4.3.3 or older. I started writing this with a newer version of GZDoom, so I don't have an answer if this doesn't work with an older version. It could be the ZScript version or any number ...
