Isn't 2.2.0 the latest "release"?
That is what I just downloaded and tried. I get the same errors regarding undefined vars. (Ubuntu 8.04/64bit)

It appears that you need to use fmod 3.75.
From what I can tell, fmod 4 does not define things like FSOUND_SAMPLE in fmod.h like it did in 3.75
So I think that means, at least for the time being, no native 64bit builds at 3.75 is not 64bit
