It's because you have the EXTREMEDEATH flag on the grenades and projectile of the grenades.
EXTREMEDEATH
This projectile or puff always gibs its victim.

Been playing for a few days with the latest, and man you fixed the minigun muzzleflash issue. Hot damn. This is really becoming a favorite gameplay mod of mine. Any chance of racking rounds into the chamber reloads sometime? Really digging this all over again since I last played.

Is there a compatibility patch for Project Brutality 3.0? Crashes when monsters can become items, which is typically unavoidable on Chaos mode. Great mod otherwise; just discovered it and am having a blast.

This feels like a scaled down Project Brutality mixed in with Babel; the arsenal was kept to base components with a few wild ones thrown in, fast weapon switching to keep the action moving. I'm really loving this with the Babel monsters. Keep it up.

This is really something you've got here. I've been searching for something more than vanilla, but less than Brutal Doom and this hits the sweetest of sweet spots. One thing: The minigun sounds like a fart more than a minigun. Everything else I can't really fault.

I'm unsure how long this has been an issue for, but the option of "Gun kills give souls" does not function. Trying the console command dst_gunsouls 1 will also do nothing. Tested on GZDoom and Zandronum.
