and they call me a dick. Sometimes it's better just to let things slide. Yeah, I've noticed you've been doing that a lot yourself with posts like this: I hate people like you. "It has to be THIS EXACT WAY and NO OTHER WAY!" cake you, get off my forum and go do that to someone else's project.

Re: [Resource] StarCraft 2 Resource Thread
Honestly, I think it's safe to say this won't last long after it's released. You're using these rips for an iwad, not just a pwad, in other words, what's essentially a stand alone game. Needless to say, that's a big no no.

Re: Dawn of Reality - new version release
Heh, it is a pretty demanding wad. I'm running it on a rig that can max out Crysis and I still had a few drops in framerate.

Even though crystalwolf was a bit crude, she might be right. http://www.jennqpublic.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/austin-powers-man-baby.JPG Is this how you see Stronghold? Some thing you made, and no longer want to think about? It seems like you see criticism and feedback as a waste of time. I ...

Meh nothing worth starting drama about..
This is a funny trend I've noticed going on. Every time someone does something stupid over on Doomworld they come crying to the Zdoom forums.

Re: [Stronghold] Release-Party (RC1 is out! - p.63)
Essel found that turning off shaders for colormaps really makes a difference in terms of performance. I'd suggest you turn off dynamic lighting as well, as that seems to cause a noticeable drop in framerate due to the fact that a lot of times they are used in place of what should be sector lighting.

Re: [Stronghold] Release-Party (RC1 is out! - p.63)
There are some promising maps in here, and I like the concept, but it does need a bit of trimming. Right now it suffers from the same problem as zpack in that it's a real mixed bag of maps. It might be nice if it mixed up the game modes a bit to keep it from getting boring. This particularly seems ...

I figured they just used monster move points.Cutmanmike wrote:The only change in AI is the fact they will try to walk towards the base, but also fire at you while doing so. Actually I'm still not sure how that was pulled off

I actually got a chance to try Shogouki. The walk through aquarium is by far my favorite part of it. Hell, I spent most of my time on the map in that area watching the fish.Marty Kirra wrote:Yeah, I'm really diggin' the screenshots you put up, the text and what not looks really good! Shogouki has to be my favorite.

Well good for you! I respect a man who feels the need to announce the fact that he's just added someone to his ignore list. It speaks volumes about what a man he is and is in no way smug.Sonnyboy wrote:I was referring to the post directly above my own.

Jetsons vs. Flintstones TDM.
The Jetsons team gets laser pistols and the Flintstone team gets clubs and slingshots.

This mod is incredibly hard, even on some of the lighter difficulties You're kidding right? I'm guessing you've pretty much ignored everything I said about entry points on Doomworld. Most of the maps are way too too easy because there's only one path or one entrance for the enemies to use. I've ...

Excuse me? At least I don't bash stuff just because isn't like Hell Revealed (vanilla). And just so you know, ZDoom was never my hug box (ew), rather Doomworld (still ew). What I was doing in the quoted post was compare the community reactions, and my opinion somewhat (because I grew out of being a ...
