Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!

Very cool, though I believe that the model you're using is based on a later commercial rifle judging by the M16A2 style rear sight.

Re: Writewave crashes GzDoom 4.10.0

Uh, I notice that there's actually two D_RUNNIN files in the rockit25.wad, one is a 82kb .MIDI file, another is a 57kb .MUS file, is it possible that there's a syntax error because it's read as a duplicate? (EDIT: I actually don't think syntax error would be even remotely the correct term here, I ...

Re: Writewave crashes GzDoom 4.10.0

Music settings, where do I find those? I didn't see them in the settings file I think. Anyway, I discover that Windows 10 decided that me pointing to the directory for GzD 4.10.0 when using Open With on a .wad meant that I still wanted to open it with 4.8.0, and at first I think that's my error, but ...

Writewave crashes GzDoom 4.10.0

Trying to record current .midi or .mus file, the game crashes to desktop without any error code. writewave D_RUNNIN record01.wav Above would be the line I use. Am I doing something wrong, or is defining sample rate less optional than I thought? Also is there a command for writing out all the .midi ...

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!

It looks very skinny, and almost a little flat in shading. I would suggest to make him a little bit more buff and shade him heavier.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!

I really love this. Doom 3 has some cool monsters in it, and I love seeing them reinterpreted for classic Doom.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!

Kind of unfinished chaingun I made almost a year back, using a vented shroud variant, ala Doom 64. Credits in the filename. vented gun 016 (iD, Midway, Rogue, Zrrion, DoomNukem).png Animated example here: https://i.imgur.com/eccQurf.gif . Not that satisfied with the body of the gun, in fact it looks ...

Fixes/replaces for Suspended In Dusk's tricks

Suspended In Dusk is a legendary little mapset, and which uses a number of creative tricks to create visuals which normally vanilla Doom wouldn't have. Problem comes to hardware rendered sourceports such as GzDoom, where many of these tricks break. Now, this could actually be addressed, if I'm ...

So would there be any notable consequences for how splash damage interacts with BossBrain if it was fixed? Part of the calculation is the receiving targets own Radius, I think.
