Also, why the heck are you using Retroarch to play Doom mods?! Pretty much what @wildweasel said, PrBoom is the only way to play Doom on some platforms. One clear example is the WIP RetroArch port for the PS2, the one for Wii U, Switch, and other older consoles, and handhelds as well, like Vita ...
