That's a pretty strange resolution. Why not regular old 320x200?

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread

I know. I didn't want to continue the discussion, But you did anyway? It wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that you do this all the time . You're not doing anyone any good by repeatedly calling attention to dead issues that do nothing except irritate people. Bah. All I wanted to do was say my ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)

I don't think imps should have a belly button. Such anatomical detail serves no functional purpose, it's just a scar resulting from umbilical gestation. Why are imp's reproductive methods necessarily different than that of humans? I'm not saying that they're the same, but why jump to any ...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread

He may be kidding, but I don't think it's wise to carry a subject or situation from a thread to another one , especially when it's being locked. I know. I didn't want to continue the discussion, I just wanted to throw my two cents in on the issue, since I didn't get a chance because it was already ...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread

I thought it was pretty obvious from the beginning that printz was just kidding in the MS thread. :|

Wall collision behavior

Is it possible to turn off a "block everything" flag on a line in-game via ACS?

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread

Because of how obscure the networking forum is, I'm posting this notice here in case anyone wants to help, in case they didn't see the thread.

Can't connect with multiplayer on GZDoom

Nash and I were trying to test out GZDoom multiplayer over the internet (not LAN), and he said that he tried it with someone else and it worked, but when I tried it, it just kinda hung at the "finding host" step. I added an exception to the Windows firewall, and even the firewall on my router, but ...

Re: [WIP] Doom: Evil Unleashed -- Important updates? Maybe.

Let's just say I have a hefty dose of skepticism towards Doom Bible projects in general, and also towards mod projects requiring their own custom exe, so the intersection of the two... I understand that you don't like projects with custom EXEs, and that's fine, but I really do want to clarify that ...

Re: [WIP] Doom: Evil Unleashed -- Important updates? Maybe.

I'm not trying to implement ZDoom specific features, just alpha behavior. And I don't care if it's just a "placebo effect", it's different enough for me to notice. I think that was Gez's intention of saying that it's not going anywhere, not because it won't, just because right now, it isn't. Eh ...

Re: [WIP] Doom: Evil Unleashed -- Important updates? Maybe.

Anyway, last time I checked, he was still begging for coders to turn Choco Doom into not-Choco Doom for his project. Of course, all coders available are already working on their own projects and don't have time for Soda's grandiose plan At this point, I've given up looking for coders, and am just ...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread

I had a weird dream that ZDoom was handed over to some anonymous foreign guy and that Randy no longer worked on it, and the forums were ported over to a really slow and buggy server with different (and shitty) forum software.

Re: Hacx 2.0 -- Hacxmas Alpha!

I'll see what I can do with the enemies, but in the mean time, I threw together this tweak of one of the jar sprites. How does it look (as proof of concept)? Note that it currently doesn't do well with the palette.
