I notice the same thing with barrels, candles and the like. The flicker is quite rapid. Using Pandemonia is how I noticed, but it isn't limited to a specific mod. Anything using more dynamic lights makes it more noticeable.

Yeah, upgrade your GZDoom. That version is something like 15 months old. It should work with 4.5 just fine. I'm using the latest dev build and it works as well so you can always try that too.

That bloodslide is a truly fun effect by the way. It makes certain things feel quite satisfying, like power punching pinkies in the Golden Souls 3 demo for example.
