Re: TES Stylized Map
Sure. I'm not saying it's bad, but be sure to connect the hubs well so you don't have headaches. Keep the hub connections as small as possible.Captain Proof wrote:Alright, then I'll stick to the Hub system then.I guess it makes more sense than having wasted space?

Re: DecX Problem - Startup "Windows Installer" Delay
Before you go blundering into uninstalls of stuff you might want to keep... are you sure you're running DecX and not the installer itself? It happened to me too, so I'm sure the installer comes up automatically once he clicks on the DecX icon. I don't know exactly what it could be, but I think it ...

Re: TES Stylized Map
I know, and I'm saying you're better off doing that because of the limits. ;) Oh wait, does UDMF have a map size limit? I tried waaay before making a single map of such proportions like 30000+. It's way impossible, as the red line in DB says I can't. Must be because I'm paranoic. I don't really ...

Re: TES Stylized Map
You'll have to make a hub, it's really the only way to do this kind of thing. That won't work. Hubs tend to be not seamless, while Cpt. Proof talks about the seamless terrain kind of thing. Imagine hubs as a snake, cut into pieces. He's talking about squares joined all together to make a bigger ...

Re: TES Stylized Map
Taking in mind engines like Torque or so.
I found a map limit since I had Doom Builder. Must be like the amount told by Nash. So, no, you can't still make those huge landscapes for ZDoom.
But still, emulate them with Line_Horizon (duh).

Re: Interest in Interviews?
Why? It's the truth. I'm not talking about your little pitiful self-interview. I'm telling you you're an idiot.
Fine. I'm still egoistical as before. I don't mind though on not being interviewed, it's just by far curiosity or if I really can do it. Chill, man.
Torm: There is still a few "ego boosters" on the map, can you tell us where and why? Juan: First, the sky. It's not exactly an ego booster what I did, but there are two reasons why I picked it up: one is recycling from the abandoned jokewad "House of Hell" would be fine ...

Re: Interest in Interviews?
Well... my thoughts when making JtRLimbo 2 are still there. I'd still say: Torm: When you were making the final part of the map, why it got a bit bland on it? Juan: It's funny to say it, but I thought of getting that over and make it quick. But I really didn't want to. I knew the future easiness of ...

Re: Interest in Interviews?
Can I get one? :D It can surely be about JtRLimbo 2 and other things. We all knew this was coming, and the answer will have to be no, not now, not ever. If its not I'll be dissappointed in Torm forever :P You haven't done anything worth talking about, unlike the sort of ...

Re: [WIP] J is for Zombies
Well, I don't really have the exact idea, but still I have the basics: a zombie mod.
I just got ideas from L4D.

Re: [WIP] J is for Zombies
OK, I admit. I'm not trying even to replicate L4D. But still, it's a zombie mod. I'm just based off on L4D.
