Amulets and Armor sure looks good, but are there other suggestions for Doom's mods?

If you're looking for a first-person, Doom-like RPG, Google for Ultima Underworld or Amulets & Armor. :) (Or Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion!!!) What about wads with sidequests, minigames or other things to beside fighting? I mean, something COMPLETELY different from Doom, which, at the same time, is a bit more in-depth than Phocas Island 2 (even if that one looks really good)?
