Usually dynamic lighting is the first thing to harm performance in slaughter maps.

I see that lights in Untitled2 have bigger radius than in BadLights. Also shadow maps are probably turned off in BadLights.

Can you show a screenshot?...but the transparent baddies don't seem to display that way.

I don't know about Cinnamon but Plasma (KDE) "fixed" such bug several years ago.GeForce RTX 4090
You can also try to force compositing pipeline in Nvidia settings.
