I was thinking about making it just a gameplay mod so it can be played with all existing megawads or vanilla doom maps. Unfortunately I'm still not skilled enough for that but just thinking about playing this with my all time favorite megawad scythe2... Damn. But I would suggest to change the weapon ...

Does anyone know what the hell Shadstarn is going on about? I think he wants to make a real doom 3d, with real doom monsters 3d. :biggrin: QCDE with 3D models would basically be Zanieon's "Hunter's Moon", which is theoratical "Quake 3: Doom Edition" for those who don't know. I think a collaboration ...

Thought this looks promising and downloaded. Unfortunately after hitting the exit switch in level 1 the console pops up and says "unable to load map sam02".

Uhm, nope, that's the damage and 7 is the amount of pellets from the shotgun shell. Changing 10 to 0 just gives me a shotgun that uses 2 shells per shot without hurting anyone.

If I may suggest something... I think the super shotgun should replace the standard shotgun, just like with the nailgun and machinegun. Or maybe add an option for replacement. I tried to accomplish that myself after looking at the files but it looks like just adding TNT1 A 0 A_TakeInventory ...

Wow, this is even better than I have hoped. The perfect megawad for singleplayer is definitely scythe2. My only problem so far is that the weapons are so colorful and look almost like toys, especially the normal shotgun.

Phew, you changed a lot since 2.9.3. But hasn't the medal system now lost half of it's usefulness? Earning 30 "impressive" medals still gives the beacon but I don't see anything when earning 50 "excellent" medals. I actually miss the kamikaze. Yeah, lifebinder is more useful but very rare to find ...
