Re: Raze officially revealed!

I downloaded the latest Visual Studio and it worked now!

I also installed some additional options from the visual studio installer, not quite sure which one would be responsible though.

Re: Raze officially revealed!

What kinds of errors? What compiler? What OS? I'm not quite sure, that's why i'm stuck. I'm using windows 10, and i'm trying to compile with Visual Studio 2017 15.1 Here's my CMakeError log, if it helps anything. Determining size of off64_t failed with the following output: Change Dir: D:/Raze ...

Player is invisible and hurt sounds aren't working

Hello, i've been trying to combine SmoothDoom with Quake Movement, and if i do this

ACTOR PerkDPlayer : QuakePlayer//Doomplayer replaces Doomplayer

It works, but the player becomes invisible and there's no pain sounds.

Anybody have any idea why that happens?

Edit : Anybody?

Re: GZDoom 3.5.0 Input Lag

Ok, i've compared with older versions, and while there are indeed less input lag in previous versions, with nvidia's latest driver updates and the new "Ultra-Low Latency" feature, it's more subtle. However, comparing with the Quake II sourceport "Yamagi Quake II", the difference is clear as night an ...

Re: Doom 64 Retribution PBR Materials : Vaseline Edition

I just had a go at your mod and the PBR only shows up in a very small amount of areas as well as showing up when I fire my weapon. Is there a file to get that has dynamic lights for Doom 64 Retribution to show these PBR textures off. The brightmaps file you hosted on Zippyshare is no longer on ...

Re: GZDoom 3.5.0 Input Lag

I've been reading a bit, and it the reason why there's input lag is because windows 10 uses something called DWM, but it's disabled in fullscreen applications

Re: GZDoom 3.5.0 Input Lag

Sorry for this massive bump, but i was about to make a new thread. I can confirm that in both the latest vintage build and GZDoom version 3.4.1 there is no input lag, while every version after it has. This is very noticeable on 144hz+ refresh rates, and makes the mouse movement feel really sluggish ...

Re: [Release] Doom 64 for Doom II - /idgames link is up

all i did was copy paste copy paste until it worked, i don't know shit about anything, and i'm amazed that it even worked. there's your answer, and why i didn't bother telling anyone how i did it, and considering that 90% of the time all i do is fail, it'd be more trouble than it's worth

Re: [Release] Doom 64 for Doom II - /idgames link is up

Very true, although i'm making so you can play through all episodes in one go, without having to go to the top menu, this will eventually be included. That way, even if it is "unofficial", it will be the COMPLETE Doom story package, all in one. This would be amazing. I have all the wads incorported ...
